His Majesty King Abdullah on Thursday discussed efforts seeking to uphold the ceasefire and end the Israeli aggression on Gaza with Catherine Ashton, the EU high representative for foreign affairs and security policy and first vice president of the European Commission.

His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF), and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II visited the general command of JAF on Wednesday.

Jordan will continue with its efforts and contacts with the international community to guarantee that the Gaza truce will be sustained and secure a permanent end to the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, His Majesty King Abdullah said on Wednesday.
